Oh my gosh, there are so many amazing memories but one does stand out.

I will never forget the wonderful advertising team of Lee Clow and Rob Siltanen. Their whole emphasis was on having fun, and fun we had when all these beachballs came floating from the balcony onto the attendees.

The element of surprise and watching everyone batting these beachballs about still stands out in my mind.

The excitement you would feel during the presentations and then afterward in the lobby as people shared their enthusiasm, cannot be duplicated.

It is very exciting to see this incredible event return to Portland.

The Creative Conference’s "squishy brain" toy still sits here on my monitor. That seemed like the perfect item for the conference give-a-way, and made me reflect on a favorite quote (Oliver Wendell Holmes): "a mind once stretched by a new idea never returns to its original dimensions." The Creative Conference was extreme brain yoga every time, and such a wonderful way to keep mentally limber!

My time with the conference was a backstage one.
The crew of professionals was , and still is, the best .
Being able to talk one to one with the speakers was a very special time.
You find that they are as nervous about speaking as I would be.
Letting them know that it is a very positive audience and they are on your side.
I have so many fond memories I have lost count.
Portland needs the PCC to be again.

I was never disappointed at the conference. The quality and variety of speaker styles, the personal focus of each presentation and the overall feeling at each event was motivating and exhilarating.
I always felt as though those of us there slipped into a parallel universe, where ideas reigned; imagination was always the solution; and creativity replaced power and money as the thing that mattered most.

There are so many memories and speakers, but I think Eugenio Zanetti's talk spoke to my own creative center the most. It was one of those moments where I felt we were the most privileged folks in town... in the state... in the country!
