We’re happy to announce that Brian Van’t Hul has joined our speaker line up. Brian is the Visual Effects Supervisor at LAIKA, the world-class Portland-based animation studio owned by Phil Knight. In 2006 Brian won the Oscar for Best Achievement in Visual Effects for his work on the 2005 motion picture King Kong. He was a key part of Weta Digital, Peter Jackson’s New Zealand-based special effect shop. While there he worked on the groundbreaking Lord of the Rings motion picture series.
