We’re happy to announce that the 2010 Portland Creative Conference Board of Directors is now in place.
Conference Chair & Nonprofit Fiscal Sponsor Liaison – Steve Gehlen. Long-time Creative Conference Board member, selected by Will Vinton to be his successor as Conference Chair. A corporate Internet executive by trade (eMarketing & eCommerce), Steve has also worked as a non-profit Executive Director and event producer.
President – Ken Greger. Long-time Creative Conference Board Member. Executive Recruiter by trade at Greger Peterson Associates, Ken is a proven business leader of this event.
Vice President – Caryn Ruch. New to Conference leadership (but a past attendee). A communications and creative services professional, Caryn’s work at Oregon Health & Science University spans managing publications, institutional communications, creative services teams and programs, and brand management.
Secretary – Sharon Rockey. Former Creative Conference Board Member and longtime booster of the event. As a freelance writer and ghostwriter, Sharon has also been our Web editor and a blogger for the past two years and will be continuing in that role.
Treasurer – Paula Keady. Treasurer of the Creative Conference Board in the 1990′s. Paula is an accounting executive at Nike.
Intellectual Property Legal Council – Kohel Haver. Long-time Conference attendee and a volunteer for the past two years. As an attorney Kohel focused on copyright and related intellectual property, technology & business law and is a partner at Swider Medeiros Haver LLP.
Community Liaison – Matt Chase. Steady Creative Conference volunteer for the past 2 years. A fundraiser by trade, Matt is the Major Gifts Specialist at the Regional Arts & Culture Council.
Associations Liaison – Johnny Hartman. Steady Creative Conference volunteer for the past 2 years, helping to make a lot of things happen in a positive way. Johnny is a digital strategist/marketer by trade.
Marketing Chair – Scott Huber. New to Conference leadership (but a past attendee and volunteer). Scott is a marketer by trade and works for Stancorp Financial.
Speaker Chair – Jerry Pratt. Longtime Creative Conference volunteer and has been the key person working with our Speakers the past 2 years. Jerry is a video editor by trade.
Logistics Chair – Ron Salvetti. Longtime Creative Conference volunteer. An event producer and designer by trade, Ron works at the GreenSpace Group.
Sponsorship Chair – Lindsey Grant. Longtime Creative Conference Volunteer Coordinator. Lindsey’s talents include photography and writing.
Front-of-House Chair – Sarah Foster. Second generation Creative Conference leader and Volunteered for this same role in 2008. Sarah is a digital marketer at Adidas.
Receptions Chair – Susan DeMerit. Former board member, longtime Creative Conference volunteer, a coordinator and driver behind the re-launch of the event.
